Looking for information users manual for Honda Universal Adapter. This users manual of Honda Universal Adapter for Accord and Acura series specially designed adapters are used in conjunction with Universal Anchoring System (UAS) stands and Universal Measuring System (UMS) pinchweld stands when securing vehicles with horizontal pinchwelds and vertical jack tabs in the corners of their center sections. (All Honda / Accord / Acura vehicles excluding Odessey.) These adapters allow the positioning of vertical jack tabs into a slot on the adapter’s top surface, and the attachment of 4 inch clamps to horizontal pinch-welds.

The Honda adapters attach to UAS stands in two ways dependent upon anchoring tube used. Figure 1 shows attachment to the ears of a UAS clamp bar tube. Figure 2 shows attachment to the vertical surface of a UMS adapter tube. Figure 3 shows attachment to the vertical surface of a UMS pinchweld stand. Each illustration shows the Honda adapter in its lowest mounted position.

Looking for information about anti-theft system at Acura/ Honda. The Honda/Acura Immobilizer anti-theft system uses a low-power transponder mounted in the head of the ignition key. When the vehicle is started, the Key Cylinder Module converts the transponder signal and sends a secure, coded signal to the Engine Control Module. If the signal to the Engine Control Module is correct, the vehicle will start. This anti-theft system 555H Honda/Acura Immobilizer Bypass Module apply in Honda Accord 1999-2002, Honda Odyssey 1999-2002, Honda Prelude 1999, Acura CL 2001-2002, Acura Integra 2001-2002, Acura MDX 2001-2002, Acura TL 2001-2002.

The 555H uses a unique autoprogram sequence to learn the secure code from the Key Cylinder Module and repeats it when remote start is activated, eliminating the need to leave a key in the vehicle. The 555H Honda/Acura Immobilizer Bypass Module integrates into the wiring for the Honda/Acura immobilizer anti-theft system to allow remote start capability, while still allowing normal function of the factory immobilizer anti-theft system. WARNING! It is recommended that the 555H Immobilizer Bypass Module only be installed by an authorized Directed dealer. Attempting installation without the proper tools and training can result in damage to the vehicle electronics.
